This position is responsible for influencing the design, cost, capital, source, "make or buy", and industrial strategy during program definition. In addition, tracking and reporting of program cost and capital and influencing program team to meet program targets.

Estimate Part and Tooling Costs – analyzes cost of systems and processes through the use of advanced benchmarking tools. Facilitates the implementation of cost management process and tools (DTC, VA/VE, Target Cost) to estimate cost and establish targets in the program formulation stage.

Cost Models – Defines, develops, validates and implements new global cost models and trains new users.

Cost Reduction – Works across global platforms with several systems and competency groups. Qualified to serve as Product Cost Management Cost Reduction Team Leader.

The successful candidate will have:

• BS degree in Engineering.

• MBA or other related advanced degree a plus.

• Extensive experience with proven track record.
